Chet Airs It Out
CBS RADIO Top 40 KLUC/LAS VEGAS’ morning host CHET BUCHANAN is up in the air once again for the 20th annual CHET BUCHANAN AND THE MORNING ZOO Toy Drive. He will be living on a scaffold 30 feet above the street at NV ENERGY headquarters, trying to raise at least $1 more than last year’s record of $455,550, as well as a get donations of 8,110 bicycles, which would be enough to fill 32 Coca-Cola semi-trailers.
"I have not been sent here because I am late on my bill," he told FOX 5’s MIKE DORIA. "This happens to be our favorite VEGAS holiday-season residency."
The LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL reports that his living quarters consist of "some radio equipment; a silver, reinforced ShiftPod2 tent … that can withstand 110-mph winds; and a state-of-the-art port-a-potty." "This is a more refined living space than my first apartment," BUCHANAN said. "All we need are some inflatable BUD LIGHT chairs up here."
